The freshman class of Tea Party congressmen collected 3.5 million dollars in their first 9 months in Congress. A joint analysis by iWatch News and the Center for Responsive politics found that the Tea Party freshman 15 collected about 44% of their money from PACs, 43% from large individual donors, and just 4% from small donors who gave less than 200 dollars.
